When I was child, my Grandfather would let me lick the stems of his flash bulbs for his camera. (He said it made sure they went off.) Finally, one day he told me I could take one picture. He told me to think about what I wanted to photograph. Not to waste the film. I still have the photo. A moment in time, immortalized by the power of the camera.
Over the years I've shot with 110's, Polaroids, 35 mm and 5 X 7 medium format. My first "real" 35 mm camera was a Pentax K1000. From here I went to a Pentax ME super and wore it out. Bought another and wore it out. To this day, the K1000 works like a charm. You can't kill those things. When the photography world went digital, I used a Nikon D300s for some time. I currently use a Canon T7i.
I took formal photography classes in the 70's and the teacher took a shine to me. I kept coming back and just hanging out in the evenings during the classes. The next year I became his assistant. From there I went on to teach nature photography classes at the Jamestown Audubon Society. I've also taught Darkroom classes and developed my own slide film back in the day.

I am a clothing and sewing pattern designer. For me, creating graphic designs highlighting Ed's photography was a natural.
In 2019, we started traveling the United States. We wanted to share Ed's photographs with the world, so we combined our passions to create a photographic print and graphic design site. Our unique product line is available here, and found nowhere else!
